It's time to March

March is the time to march. During this time God will be giving us our marching orders. Some of those orders were given during the past two months but even more clarity will be given during this time. We are going to receive what we need for the next three to six months of 2012. As we march forth there is going to be a jostling for unity. We can choose to stay where we are at and miss the plan that God has for us. Others will march ahead of His plan out of impatience. Don't look for attention or try to be prominent. God is raising up an army of unity. One that will march as one. The enemy wants to destroy this with dissension and division.

Fight for unity. Make sure that you have the back of those (intercession) who are in front of you. Be an extra sight of eyes (discernment) to those on your sides. Be a voice of warning (prophetic vision) for those who are behind you. For us to work together effectively we need to intercede for one another. We need to hold each other up when we need it. We need to be able to communicate to our brothers and sisters those things that they can not see. All of us have blind spots. We need each other. Unity is so important for this season.

The month of April will be a time of strategizing. It will be a time of laying in of resources (in the Spirit). It will be a time of blueprints and plans of attack. The months of May and June will be a time of establishing and building. We are marching out right now and taking land. We are taking back our destinies. We are taking back forgotten dreams. We are taking back the truth where lies have reigned.

Let us march forth during this month of March! Take back what the enemy has stolen from you. Now is the time to wage war for your destiny. It is time!

This past month:

            One highlight of this past month was a prayer breakfast that I was involved with organizing. This was part of the Saigu campaign that I am involved with that is commemorating the LA riots. We saw bridges made as Korean, Black, White, and Latino pastors all gathered. We still have a long way to full reconciliation and unity but major inroads are being made.

            My times in the prayer room have been incredible. Some powerful times as God is building a unity between the prayer and worship leaders. There is a power that can come when the two come together as one and allow the Spirit to freely flow in prayer and song. Continue to pray that God will send more worship leaders to Radiance.

March Happenings:

            I’m launching an inner healing service at Radiance. We are calling it Destiny Nights and it is a time of worship, teaching on who we are in Christ, our destiny in the kingdom, and prayer for those who come. I am basing the teaching around the verse you will know the truth and the truth shall set you free. As we receive revelation of who we truly are in Christ the lies that we have accepted can be broken off.

            On March 15^th there is going to be an event called TheCry Hollywood. Thousands of intercessors from across North America are going to come and sow prayer into the city. It is going to be a time of blessing Hollywood and praying forth God’s heart for the city. I encourage any of you to come if at all possible. I am involved with the prayer team leading up to the event and Radiance is one of the main partner organizations behind the administration of the event. I don't often post prophetic words by others here but I thought this was quite timely and wanted to share this. It is a powerful word for both those in the prayer movement and for those with a heart for evangelism. God is bringing the power of the two together as prayer will be the fuel for this great harvest that is about to come.

A Fresh Revelation for the Global Prayer Movement!

While in Pasadena, California, a few weeks ago ministering at the Voice of the Prophets Conference, I was ministering away on the theme of "Prophecy Life" – then "it" happened! What is the "it"? HA! Hold on – I will get to "it"!

For me, the prophetic seer realm sometimes opens up unexpectedly. I wish it were by will – but for me, it is not. It opens up for me especially while in worship, sometimes while just doing something natural, sometimes while ministering privately, and sometimes while on stage or the platform ministering.

This is how I got the revelation for Prayer Storm: I saw it when I was awakened from a commissioning dream. I remember when I saw the words AMP and MAP written out in front of me in large, glowing amber letters. I said to the Holy Spirit, "What does this mean?" He quickly responded, "When the A (apostolic) is M (made) P (personal), there will be M (mighty) A (authority) in the P (prophetic) in that place. I will AMPlify My voice and I will put those apostolic renewal centers on My MAP." Fascinating encounters indeed...

This is also how I received the word, "The Beginning of the Third Great Awakening," and many other pertinent revelations. For me, when this occurs, it is always something significant.

Well, while on the platform of Ambassador Auditorium two weeks ago, my spiritual eyes were opened and I saw the word SHOP written out in front of me hanging in mid-air. Those who know me know I do like to shop! But of course, this was not a word from the Lord telling me to go shopping! I was caught by this experience right in front of everyone – with hundreds present. Then as fast as I saw it, a download went right into me. Wanna know what I heard?

It's time for SHOP! It's time for the Salvation House of Prayer! Wow! That was amazing! I saw that there was grace in the room for at least 25 HOUSES of PRAYER that would carry this anointing for Prayer Evangelism... Later, in more of the inspirational gift of prophecy, the Holy Spirit said, "It is time for the WAR HOP to be released: Houses of Prayer contending against the powers of darkness. These Houses of Warship will send the enemy to flight!"

Do you realize that many of our amazing local churches and "Houses of Prayer" expressions rarely actually pray for souls? Well, it's time! It's time for the Salvation House of Prayer – so, let's SHOP TILL THEY DROP! Just incredible! I am still buzzing with that revelation ringing within me.

I love what exists today – but this is a call to add God's heart for the lost in our many different "Houses of Prayer" expressions. It's time for the Harvest! So, let's release the SHOP!

Salvation Intercession – Practical Ways of Praying for Your Loved Ones into God's Family

1. Ask God to soften their hearts. Pray for the condition of their hearts to change.

Ezekiel 11:19 (AMP) And I will give them one heart [a new heart] and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony [unnaturally hardened] heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh [sensitive and responsive to the touch of their God].

2. Ask God to send a spirit of conviction. Ask for the release of the spirit of conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgment to come.

John 16:8 (NASB) And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment.

3. Ask God to send a spirit of revelation. Ask for the spirit of wisdom and revelation (dreams, visions, angelic visitations).

Ephesians 1:17-19 (NASB) [I pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe...

4. Ask God to bring His Word to remembrance. Ask the Lord to bring to their remembrance any of the good words of God that they were taught from their childhood to this day.

John 14:26 (NASB) But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Isaiah 55:11 (NASB) So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

5. Pray prayers of forgiveness. Forgive your mother, father, son, daughter, your friends and other loved ones. Forgiveness is the master key that unlocks the prison door to a heart of stone. Through forgiveness comes a place of identification. The model prayer of Jesus is not an individual prayer. It is a corporate prayer: "Our Father which art in Heaven...Give us this day our daily bread...forgive us our debts [sins]..." (see Matthew 6:9-15).

6. Pray for laborers for the harvest. This is a prayer that the Lord Jesus Himself recommended.

Matthew 9:38 (NIV) Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.

7. Pray for a revelation of eternity. In some ways, praying for a revelation of eternity is like praying for the release of a spirit of conviction. Here, however, you're asking the Lord to give a person an awareness of the realities of both Heaven and Hell. Many people live their whole lives as if this world is all there is. They need to have their eyes opened to the startling reality of an eternal Heaven and Hell. They also need to recognize that no one is righteous enough to make it to Heaven without Jesus. You can combine this prayer with a prayer for revelation, asking even for dreams of Heaven and Hell. You can also combine it with a prayer for remembrance of something they once heard about Heaven or Hell. People need a revelation of eternity before they will consider Jesus' invitation to join Him in Heaven.

8. Resist the enemy in Jesus' name. Pray to break the powers of darkness that are generational and hindering your loved ones from the saving power of Jesus' Blood. (See my study guide, Deliverance from Darkness, for more on this subject.)

9. Solicit other people's prayers. Enroll other intercessors to pray for your loved ones.

Ephesians 6:19-20 (NASB) ...pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

2 Corinthians 1:10-11 (NASB) ...And He will yet deliver us, you also joining in helping us through your prayers, so that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the favor bestowed on us through the prayers of many.

10. Pray for a revelation of God's love. This may be the most important point. Ask God to overwhelm your loved one(s) with His love. It's the kindness of God that draws us to repentance (see Romans 2:4 and Romans 12:14, 19). Of course, He will use difficult circumstances to make someone desperate, but don't pray for Him to send difficulties. Don't partner with the devil's work. Partner with God, who is good all the time, and pray for a revelation of God's love in the midst of whatever happens. Otherwise, times of crisis will be wasted. If the person doesn't grasp the fact that God loves him or her right in the middle of a grave situation, the person may simply walk away, adjust to it, or otherwise not gain any eternal benefit from it.

We can release our faith and believe the Lord for more of His presence to come to our family, friends and co-workers. We stand as prophets, priests, and kings of our own families and spheres of authority before the Lord. We can let revival begin in our own homes, and families, and friends for the glory of God's great name.

Let's be a Salvation House of Prayer! Let's lift names before the throne of the Almighty of family, friends, and co-workers and ask the Lord of the Harvest to save them through the power of His divine love!

The Power of Entertainment

In my role as an intercessor in the House of Prayer I have found that I have been praying for arts and entertainment more than any other topic. I don't have a personal call to that mountain. My passion lies more with business, government, and the church. But I believe that God is about to do something huge in the industry and that is why Hollywood, as the epicenter of the industry, is on the heart of intercessors from across the world.

The music and literature of a culture can shape it more than its government. Damon of Athens was a prominent musician and advisor to Pericles, the leading political figure of Athens, as well as a personal friend of the philosopher Plato. Damon stated the following "Let me write the songs of a nation, and I care not who writes its laws." Now obviously Damon, by his associations and influence, was not a mere ecentric musician who was dismissive of the power of government. He recognized the power of music to shape culture even more than the government structure that he was involved in.

Think of the sexual revolution of the 1950's and 60's. It was led by a movement of music celebrating love and sex without the commitment of marriage. The civil war and the movement to end slavery was accompanied by the Negro spirituals that cried out for freedom. The gang warfare of Los Angeles has a soundtrack laid down by rich rappers, many of them former Crips and Bloods themselves. Music foreshadows a cultural revolution and releases the spirit of the age. There is a power that it carries.

The literature of a culture reflects what it celebrates. Harold Goddard said that "the destiny of the world is determined less by the battles that are lost and won than by the stories it loves and believes in." What stories is our culture celebrating? Look at the films of the 1930's and 40's. Classics directed by Frank Capra and others celebrated the value of family and the joy that Christianity could bring. This was shown in the family values of the 40's. Today Hollywood tells stories of a selfish love- of men and women bouncing from one bed to the next. Some of the most popular genres of film celebrate a culture of death. Is this what we are loving and believing in?

I believe that God is shifting this. God wants to raise up His people in Hollywood who will tell stories of hope and love. Seabiscuit was one of these stories of inspiration. Movies like Superman Returns where Superman talks about the need for a savior even for those who don't think they need one. The literature of today is mainly television and films, it is the media that the majority of the western world consume the most. Literature is a mirror for how society and culture views itself. Music is a prophetic expression of where culture and society will be in a few short years. We need to pray for God to redeem those who are telling our stories and prophesying over our nation.

We are at a crossroads in America today. I believe that God is ready to pour out a renaissance and reform our culture. The question is whether we will engage with it or if we will condemn it. For too long the Church has abdicated its role to engage with the world and take dominion over it. We are now reaping the consequences. We must repent for our condemnation of media and speak life and blessing over the mountain of arts and entertainment. With the power of Christ we can retake this mountain.

The Anointing of Esther

Many prophets have been speaking recently about the call of Esther. Lou Engle has called for an all women prayer gathering and solemn assembly, this April in Dallas, which has been named The Esther Call. I have known those who have said that they had an Esther anointing. I did not know why that annoyed me at the time. Recently I have realized why. They understood the anointing of Esther as merely a special measure of favor before the king. That is part of it- but there is so much more.

To understand the Esther anointing we need to realize the position she was in. The Sunday School version of the story isn’t completely accurate. Esther’s ancestors had been forcibly taken from their homeland and brought in captivity to a foreign land. Esther was living as an orphan, cared for by her cousin. During this time the king was looking for a new queen and instructed his staff to search for the most attractive virgins of the land. Esther was one of those selected. She had no choice- today we would call this sex trafficking. Women were gathered from all provinces (127 provinces). We can only imagine how many young women were taken from their homes.

Once these women were taken from their families they would spend the rest of their lives in the king’s harem as concubines, one of them would be selected as wife and queen. Esther, along with the other women, spent a year undergoing beauty treatments. An entire year of rejecting her Jewish faith as her cousin Mordecai had instructed her to keep her heritage secret. After a year she was ready for her night with the king. One by one the virgins took their turn. The king would spend the night with these virgins to see if they pleased him. If they did not please the king they spent the rest of their lives as concubines who had had their innocence stolen from them. Since Esther pleased him more than any other virgin (this makes the TV show The Bachelor look like family fare) she was chosen as queen.

Esther had been queen for about seven or eight years by the time that Haman plotted to kill the Jews. Haman hated Mordecai because he would not bow before Haman. Once Haman realized that Mordecai was a Jew he hatched his plot to kill all of the Jewish people. The edict was issued and Mordecai sent word to Esther. He plead with her to go before the king to plead for mercy for the Jewish people. He spoke those famous words “And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” Esther and Mordecai both knew that going before the king without being summoned meant death.

But Esther called for a fast. She instructed the Jews of Susa to fast food and water for three days as she and her maidservants would do as well. This was a fast to the death. Three days without water is dangerous. But this was life and death for an entire people. The survival of the Jewish people depended on it. This was a fast for favor before the king; before the high court of the land. Esther went in with resolve: “If I perish, I perish.” Three days was also the time that Christ spent in the tomb. Three days of death to defeat death.

At the end of this fast Esther went before the king. He extended her the favor of his scepter- sparing her life. At this moment Esther invited him and Haman to a banquet. We are all familiar with the rest of the story. But what is interesting is during this time the king could not sleep, discovered a previous time when Mordecai saved his life, and decided to honor him as it had never been done. This further angered Haman. The spirit of Haman hates the people of God and he hates when they are honored. It is this same spirit that has come against the Jewish people throughout history and wars against the children of Israel and the Church today.

We see here how the power of this fast was what shifted the favor of the king. The anointing of Esther is one to plead life before the courts of heaven and earth. First she made her plea before the courts of heaven through prayer and fasting. Second, she made petition before the most powerful court of earth. What was written in the name of the king could not be revoked. He reigned from India to Ethiopia, most of the known world was under his control, the mightiest empire up to that point of history. The favor of heaven rested upon Esther and she moved the heart of the king.

The anointing of Esther is one of power, authority, and favor. The favor of heaven that is then recognized by the powers of this world. But this favor isn’t for just anything. This favor is for the cry of life on behalf of God’s people. Those who have no voice before the powers of this world. Esther is being raised up in this generation. She is going to be placed in positions of influence where her voice can be heard.

Arts and entertainment is one such place. There are many who will criticize Esther for going into those places. But it is God’s will and He will give them a grace for purity. God will raise up Mordecai to launch Esther into her position and to intercede for her protection. The Mordecai of old was never far from Esther- it was her who saw him from a distance in his distress. And these Esthers will be in their position for a time that we do not know. God will redeem the tribulation that they have been forced to undergo. He will take all of the injustices that they have suffered and use it to further His purpose.

The Esthers will cry out for life. They will cry out for freedom. They will cry out for mercy. They will cry out for those who have no voice. For the aborted babies, for the trafficked millions, for the oppressed peoples. And they will cry out for God’s people in the midst of persecution. God is raising up the Esthers! Let the anointing of favor fall upon those who will stand before the courts of heaven and earth. The favor that comes from bold obedience and courage. The favor that will rest upon those who fear no one but God.
