Carrying Other People's Vision and Passion

Two weeks ago in Launch School at Radiance International we had Faytene Grasseschi come and speak to the students. One of the things that she shared was the following quote:

"When you love someone you become interested in their passions."

She was referring to our relationship with God and making an analogy with romantic relationships as well. But I believe that it is even bigger than this. There is a new Kingdom expression in which we will carry other peoples' visions and passions as if they were our own. This expression of love and sacrifice is what will establish an end-time generation that will usher in the fullness of God's Kingdom.

Two of my friends are in the music industry. One is an aspiring singer/songwriter working on her first album and the other is her best friend and manager. When I speak to her she is so passionate about her friend's music. She is more jealous and more protective of the sound that God has given her than the actual artist is. This is Kingdom! Before we can walk forward with our own passions and dreams we must first learn how to carry others.

As we develop this mindset we will see competition and jealousy of others disapper. We will see a unity form as we fight for the callings and destinies of those who God has placed around us. If we will uphold the destinies of our brothers and sisters, as more important than even our own, we will ensure the success of the body. This laying down of ourselves will usher in such a powerful move of God that the world has never seen before.

But to carry other people's vision we must first learn how to carry God's passion. When we are truly in love we want to learn as much about the other person's heart as we can. Their hobbies become our hobbies as we try to join with them in what matters most to them. In the same way we must learn what God's heart burns for. We must become united with Him so that His passion truly becomes our passion. Only when we come to that point will we be able to carry the passion for others.

Our role on this earth is to glorify God and make His name and character known on this earth. God's greatest desire is to be known and for mankind to have fellowship with Him. We reflect the character of God when we come together in unity with our brothers and sisters. A key part of this unity is to carry the vision that they carry. God has placed certain people into your life for a reason. Be willing to fight for their passion as if it was your own. When this happens God will in turn release your own passion and dreams. As we carry one another in prayer and joy we will see the greatest release of Kingdom destiny that this world has ever seen.

The Timetable is Changing

The prophets have been speaking about acceleration for several years now. Those of us who are within the apostolic and prophetic movements, especially those of us who are forerunners, have witnessed this firsthand. God has done works within our lives, over the last few years, that would normally take a decade or more. Works that would normally take years have been accomplished in mere months. We are being catapulted into destiny.

One thing that I have noticed is that God has been changing the timetable. Don't be wedded to what you thought was the timetable. God is accelerating those plans as previously revealed. There are things that God has promised that you thought would be years off but are going to be released far sooner. This is because of your faithfulness. You submitted yourself to the accelerative and refining process of the Lord and He is rewarding you for it.

God is also switching around the order of events. He is changing the roadmap as things are changing within the world and the Kingdom. Just because you thought your future might be in a certain order doesn't mean that it is going to happen in that same order. Our times are shifting. Much of this is because we are entering a new apostolic and Kingdom age where things are being turned upside down.

We must be reliant on the Holy Spirit and His guiding. Allow Him to show you how certain things in your life are being changed. Ask Him to make clear what expectations need to be shifted. God gives us glimpses of our future to prepare us and so that we might pray into them. It's not so that we can carry them out without consulting the Holy Spirit any farther. We must be more reliant on the Holy Spirit now than any time before.

God has been shifting much of my plans and expectations as this year has unfolded. Things that I thought were going to happen four years or more from now are being moved up in God's timetable. The order of my life has been realigned as I have gone deeper into God's presence and have allowed Him to realign the things of my heart. Don't be afraid of this change. Learn to live with the unexpected. It can be a bit terrifying but God is in control. We are going to see even more of this shifting and realigning as we move into the rest of this year and beyond.

July: Prepare to Possess

July is a month of rest and settling as we transition from the first half of 2012 into the latter part. In many ways it is a sabbath month in which we will harvest what has been sown during the first half of the year. The first half of this year has been a time of preparation and building as God has been laying down a foundation within our lives. This is a month in which we will start to see the fruit of what has already been done and begin a preparation for the next part of the year.

August will be a time of open gates and a time of great opportunities. Start to prepare yourself to take possession of what God is going to release to you in the rest of the year. God is going to start showing you the doors that will be opened for you in the latter part of this year. Start praying into the opportunities that God is showing you during this month of July. In August through October you will be released into these new things and God will give them over into your hands.

July is a time of reflection. It's a time to pray into the prophecies of previous years. God is going to reveal many answers to promises during this month. Even those that are meant for fulfillment years from now will come to mind during this time so that you might sow into them in prayer. This is a time to invest into our destiny and promises from the secret place. Declare the promises that you have. Proclaim the Lord's goodness over your life. Dare to believe the impossible. This is a time in which we are sowing seeds that we will harvest years from now- some of them won't even be harvested by us but by our children.

Ask the Lord to reveal His timing. Don't postpone the promises of God for another time if they are for now. Ask the Lord to show you what He intends you to take possession of in this year and what things He wishes for you to simply sow into. This is a time of great faith as God expands your ability to believe in His power, grace, and mercy. Get ready to enter great things during this year. Many of you have been striving for opportunities to be made available. In August God will open doors of opportunity and favor before you- you will not even need to touch them but they will swing open as He launches you towards them.

Go deep into the Presence of God and the Essence of the Spirit. Prepare yourself to take the gates of the enemy!
