The following is a word that I delivered this past Saturday night. In it I outline God's jealous heart for His people and how this season is one in which God is raising us up to take authority. He is preparing us to start passing judgement against those things that have held us back in the past season. The shofar has sounded and He is awakening His glorious Bride that has been purchased with a price and has been raised up for such a time as this!

Sandie Freed: A Season For the Aarons and Hurs to Arise!
I don't often post words by other prophets on this blog but this is a very timely word by Sandie Freed. I have been talking about the role of Aaron and Hur for the past couple of months and the attack of the spirit of Amalek as well. This is something that we all need to be on guard against during this season.
Precious Believer,
I am writing you because I had a dream with you in it! I knew, even while dreaming the dream, that the dream was from the Lord. In the dream there was a very large house. It was similar to a castle or a fortress; therefore, I would interpret it as "kingdom."
It was very clear in this dream that we must have the heart of the King in order to fulfill destiny.
In my dream, the fortress had many different rooms. As Believers, we were searching for divine direction to accomplish and fulfill destiny. As we, as the Redeemed (full of Light), would enter into each room – the room would immediately light up! Yet, though we were in the room – we were unable to locate the door to the next room (our next step toward fulfilling destiny). Suddenly, Jesus would appear by the door (after all, He is the Door) and looked at us, the Body, and said, "This is the way." We went through this type of situation in every room.
My dream ended with my realizing that each intersection had a new door of entrance. At each entrance, the leaders in the Body of Christ would go first, and others who served in the Kingdom followed. I remember telling those who followed behind to be sure and go through this entrance together and not "lag behind." Timing was extremely important in this dream. The leaders would spearhead the way – but they were only empowered to do so as they followed Jesus, the Captain of the Host! It was increasingly clear that we must all completely rely on and lean on Jesus for His directives. Leaning on Jesus has been a Christian cliché for years. It is not to be considered a passive term any longer. In Song of Solomon 8:5, it speaks of one who comes up from out of the wilderness..."leaning on her beloved." The word "lean" is the Hebrew word which actually means "to recline." However we, as Believers, also know that we must "labor" to enter into "rest."
I'm sure that many of you can relate to me when I say that I feel that I have been through a wilderness experience and that it is time to come out of that wilderness. However, just as Solomon wrote...we come out "leaning" and "reclining" on Him. This means being completely dependent upon Him and His direction. Having faith in this season for great breakthrough involves spiritual warfare which seems like anything but resting and reclining – however, we must remember that Jesus has already won the victory!
Significant Keys
There are two important areas of great significance that I believe are keys for the season ahead:
1. That we must break through religious mindsets for the new season.
2. This is a season where the leaders will be led with new instruction, but also – and this is very important – the Aarons and Hurs will hold up the arms of their leaders.
Now, I am fully aware that many of God's chosen have been serving their leaders faithfully. However, in this season, there is a fresh breath of life being released from God's throne to empower everyone called as an Aaron and a Hur! I believe that God is even calling forth Aarons and Hurs to hold up other Aarons and Hurs! This is because many have been weary and under demonic assignment, causing fatigue and even passivity due to physical and spiritual exhaustion.
In my book, Destiny Thieves: Defeat Seducing Spirits and Achieve Your Purpose in God, I discuss both of these keys in great length. We are living in very perilous times. There are various forms of seducing spirits that will rise up and attempt to steal destiny. I specifically discuss the "Amalekite spirit" that attacks those in the camp who are weak and feeble. In my travels and communications with other leaders in the Body of Christ, I notice the weariness many are feeling. The Amalekites were known to specifically wait behind a moving camp and prey upon those who lagged behind for one reason or another. Their goal was to take the stragglers captive as slaves or murder them and plunder their goods. Dear ones – whether ill or moving slowly from loss of vision, we need to be aware there is an evil spirit desiring to take us captive!
The Aarons and Hurs
If you remember, it was Aaron and Hur who held up the arms of Moses as the Israelites fought against the Amalekites. You can read the entire story in Exodus 17. As you may recall, Israel was at war with the Amalekites, and as long as Moses held out the rod so all could see, the warriors became encouraged and would rise up with great faith for victory. Moses' arms grew weary and his arms began to fall to the point that Israel could no longer see the rod extended. Therefore, the battle would turn in the favor of the enemy if they could not see Moses extending the rod!
Again – and it is important to visualize this – as long as Aaron and Hur held up Moses' arms, the Israelites would gain an upper hand in battle. When Moses' arms were weary from holding up the rod, the Amalekites would rise up with greater courage. Saints, what does this tell us? First, that there are many leaders who need the Aarons and Hurs to rise up and hold up their arms. And, secondly, this tells us today that many in the Body who are called to hold up the arms of their leaders are under an evil assignment by the enemy. The enemy would like nothing better than to destroy those who are called to serve. In my book, I give many different keys as to how to battle against this destiny-destroying stronghold. Please keep in mind that a leader in the Body of Christ is not limited to a five-fold minister. A leader might be a Sunday school teacher, a praise team leader, or a leader of any type of team. I also want to include marketplace ministers as part of God's leadership team. One mindset that we must overcome is to believe that someone needs a pulpit in order to "lead" someone to Christ! (Now, leading someone to Christ, that's what I call a leader!)
Doors of Opportunity
There are many doors of opportunity that are opening to us. This was part of my dream. The leaders need to lean more to Jesus for direction, but they must also have the Aarons and Hurs following them and encouraging them. These doors of opportunity could and very well may oppose religious doctrines and religious mindsets! We must be willing to allow the Lord to breathe afresh upon His Word and be expecting fresh revelation.
Saints, yesterday's revelation will be breathed upon again to empower us for the season ahead! To believe that we "know it all" and "understand it all" right now is to remove ourselves from under the cloud of His glory!
It has always been amazing to me how much people desire to protect their doctrine – especially if it opposes a move of God. It is this author's belief that my being "right" about something is not as nearly important as my doing the "right" thing for now. This means I must let go of what I "think" I know and be willing for the Holy Spirit to teach me something a little differently (maybe a lot different!). Either way, my connection to my destiny lies in complete surrender to Him.
Don't allow a door of opportunity to pass you by! Be determined to go through the door that is planned for your future. Be willing to learn something new, go a different route, and enjoy new scenery along the way. He has His very best planned for you!
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NIV)
Allow me to pray for you: Father God, I want to specifically pray for every leader in the Body of Christ and the Aarons and Hurs who are called to serve the Body. I pray divine protection over each of them and that every plan You have for their lives would be fulfilled. I take authority over the Amalekite spirit and all religious spirits that would attempt to rob divine destiny. Lord, I pray that every door of opportunity will be accessed by each Believer. Lord, continually remind us that we need to seek Your face and to hold You reverently in our hearts. I ask that the Holy Spirit would begin to speak clear directives to all who serve You in Kingdom purpose. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
As always, I send love to all of you!

Lessons from Isaac & Rebecca
For the past couple of months I have been meditating on the story of Isaac and Rebecca. In this account Abraham charges his servant to go and find a wife for his son Isaac. Abraham did not want his son to marry one of the Caananites but wanted him to marry among his own people. God never wants us to settle for a spouse that doesn't hold to the same truths that we hold to. It might be easier for us to settle for those who we are surrounded by. We might not even know how God will bring the kind of person that we need. But it is so key to be equally yoked. I'm not just talking about salvation here. Does that person hold to the same values that you do? Are you matched in your destiny? If you're called to the nations and they are called to run the local Sunday School it might not be possible. I was once interested in a girl who had a large destiny but she had no interest in pursuing her destiny. She was holding onto things that needed to be given up so that she might be free to be who she was called to be. At the same time I was running after God with as great a passion as I could- we were not equally yoked.
Abraham's servant is an archetype of the Holy Spirit. Isaac didn't have to do anything. During this time he was carrying out his father's business. Scripture records that he was working in the fields when Eliezer brought back Rebecca. If we are carrying out what God has for us- He will bring us our spouse in His proper timing. We don't need to worry. Scripture says that if we delight ourselves in the Lord then He will grant us the desires of our heart. We don't need to be out hunting for a spouse. Now we need to keep our eyes open. The Lord isn't going to necessarily bonk you over the head with a spouse. He desires to partner with you. But I'm talking about heart posture. You don't have to go out and make it happen. God will bring it about in His timing.
When Eliezer went to find Rebecca he prayed that God would open his eyes and show him who the woman was. He asked the Lord for a sign. Even after he found out that Rebecca was the one he had to pursue her. We, as men, must pursue the woman that God highlights to us. Eliezer made his case for why Isaac was a great man. Even though Eliezer knew that Rebecca was the one she still had a choice. Sometimes God will speak to us on who our future spouse is- but that person always has the free will to accept or reject us as a future mate. If God shows you who your future spouse is, it is so that you can partner with what the Spirit is doing. If you're a guy then you can start pursuing her if that is what God is saying. If you're a woman you can start to encourage a pursuit by demonstrating that you are available.
One of the beautiful things that I find in this story is when Isaac and Rebecca married it records that Isaac loved her. Scripture doesn't often record the fact of a husband loving a wife. I believe that this is a confirmation and a sign that if we submit to what the Spirit is doing in this area of romance then He will bring the perfect spouse into our lives that we will love and cherish. God is not going to bring you someone that you cannot stand. He will bring the right one for you. But we have to be willing to wait. Isaac didn't go out and start looking for a wife prematuraly. Isaac waited until it was God's timing. In the same way we must wait for the Father. But make yourself ready. As you carry out the Father's business He will grant you the desires of your heart.

Digging Your Own Well
In the prophetic movement we often talk about re-digging the ancient wells. Lou Engle even wrote a book about it. We often will visit sites where God moved powerfully in the past so that we might receive from what was there. Personally, I have prayed at most of the major sites of revival within Southern California which represents some of the greatest moves of God during the 20th century. As I prayed at those sites, as many others have done as well, I have asked for the blessing that was upon those revivals to be released upon my generation as well. This is powerful and must be done. I spend a sizable chunk of my intercession re-digging those wells. But in this past week I received the revelation that we can revisit our own wells.
The Lord sent me on a prayer assignment to San Diego this last week. While on my way down there God reminded me that, ten years ago, I had led my first person to Christ at Mission Beach. He showed me that during my teen years I had a zeal, courage, and passion that the enemy tried to steal from me but I have gotten back in the past few years. He then said that there was a well that I had dug when I led that man to Christ and that I was to revisit it. I went to Mission Beach and stood where I had led that man to Christ and prayed for that zeal and passion for souls to be re-ignited in my heart. I will admit, that out of all of the five-fold ministry, evangelism is the one that I move in the least. I prayed for a movement of signs and wonders to be ignited in the Church that would sweep up the coast of California that would result in a great harvest of souls. This was because I had revisited my own well.
We dig wells all the time. Some are for ourselves- others are for those who will come after us. Earlier this week I tweeted out the following: What I do today is so that my future children may reap the benefits and blessing within their lifetimes. We must have a mindset of eternity while we are living this life. We are building a foundation for future generations. I don't do what I do for just myself. I fight so that my children will be able to walk in greater glory. A week or two ago God showed me how my firstborn son is going to move in signs and wonders. This has motivated me to chase after greater signs and wonders in my own life. It has been prophesied over me- I know that I have been called to do so. But I have been content to wait for them to show up in a future season. But I can't be content with what I have now. For I know that whatever breakthrough I have in my own life will be passed on to my children. The blessings that I release through my own struggle will be transferred to my own children so that they won't have to contend as I have done. If my future son is to move in great signs and wonders to demonstrate God's love- then I must contend for those signs and wonders to be released within my generation.
Peter walked in great signs and wonders because his spiritual father (Jesus) had contended for them when He walked this earth. Paul moved in a wisdom anointing because his spiritual father (Gamaliel) had walked in it. Elisha had a powerful ministry because of Elijah's faithfulness. Subsequent generations move in greater anointings if they honor the labor of the past generations. I can look at most of my giftings and anointings and point to the parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent who walked in that same gift.
I charge you to be faithful to what God has given you. Walk in the power of the Lord. Build an inheritance for your children's children. Honor the work of the past generations within your own family and within the larger family of God. As you do so you will dig your own wells. Don't abandon the wells that you have dug but remember them so that you may revisit them and be refreshed. Some will be for yourself- others are for the next generation. But this is a time and a season of both uncorking the ancient wells and digging fresh ones. Let the glory of God be released in a fullness that has never be seen before.

August 2012 Newsletter
This past month:
These last two months have been action packed. So
action packed in fact that I missed getting a July newsletter out.
The
main highlight of these last two months was a six-week discipleship training
school that we hosted from July 25th to August 5th. We
had over 20 full-time, along with about 20 more part-time, students come to
Hollywood to be trained. We covered deliverance, spiritual warfare, inner
healing, prophecy, signs and wonders, evangelism, theology of the end-times,
prayer, worship, and a bunch more. I was able to participate in the program and
I have to say that it was a life changing experience for all of those involved.
A number of the interns are in the industry, some others are still in college,
and others are called to vocational ministry so it was a wide spectrum of
people. The testimonies from the program are enormous. Everything from personal
breakthrough, to healing among relatives, to salvations when we ministered on
the streets.
I
was also able to complete my book on the life of Anna. I have a few people reviewing
it and will be making the final changes before sending it off to the publisher
in the next week or two. If all goes according to plan it should be released by
Thanksgiving.
I
have also been working with a number of the student leaders from Pepperdine
University. They are on fire for the things of God and I have the pleasure of
coming alongside of what they are doing in a support role. I’m expecting some
big things in this coming school year.
Looking forward:
In
these next few months I am going to be starting my second book. This book, that
I am in the midst of researching for, will be geared for those who are called
to reach secular society from the inside out. The main focus will be for those
who are called to the mountains of business and entertainment.
I
am also in the planning stages of a training course that we hope to have to
train people in prophecy.
These
next few months are very critical as we take advantage of the opportunities
that are in front of us and continue to build a foundation for next year.
Prayer Needs:
Be praying for wisdom and discernment as I start to
implement many of the things that have been on my heart for the past number of
months.
Pray
for Kingdom opportunities and for the right ministry relationships to form.
Pray for open doors and for God’s timing to be done.
Please
pray against any blockages. Pray that God’s will be done in His perfect timing
and that nothing would stand in the way.
Financial Needs:
I continue to need those who are willing to partner
with me on a monthly basis. Please contact me to learn how to do this or how to
give a one-time tax-deductible gift.

Possess the Gates
In this season there are doors of opportunity and there are gates of possession. Doors of opportunity are meant to be entered through. They are portals to new beginnings and new realms of authority. In addition to these doors there are gates that the Lord is also highlighting. Gates are places of authority and influence. The word gate, in Scripture, is mostly used in reference to the gates of a city. The gate in a Middle Eastern city was where all of the elders would gather. Business would be conducted there, disputes mediated, and governmental decisions made. In other words the prophetic, judicial, and commercial were all represented there. The gates to a city were where the authority of a city rested. It was there that the decisions were made that determined what was allowed within the city and what was not allowed.
The Lord is asking us to take possession of the gates into our cities, workplaces, homes, churches, businesses, places of government, and media. God is asking for His Church to truly be the Ekklesia. The Greek word for Church (Ekklesia) is a political term meant for a governing body that would legislate. We are being called to take the gates, inhabit them, and determine what goes on. We are Christ's ambassadors on earth and we have the right and responsibility to ensure that the culture of Heaven is manifest on earth. For too long we have abdicated this role. Many of these gates are in the possession of the enemy but God is calling us to take them back.
The enemy knows that his time is short. He understands that part of the apostolic revolution is an authority to govern over the earth. It is for this reason that the enemy is attacking the gatekeepers. The enemy is trying to destroy the gatekeepers through physical, emotional, and spiritual attack. Do not allow attack to cause you to shrink back. God is truly releasing the anointing of Samson on this generation to go and take back what the enemy has stolen. God is raising up His valiant ones who will not shrink back but will press on and take what God has given us. This is the time to take possesion. This is the time to cross over into what God has given us.
Manipulation is one major way the enemy is attacking God's people in this hour. Fear is another such tool. Don't allow others to manipulate you into shrinking back. Don't allow others to try to put you in a box or control you. I want to be careful here- I'm not talking about those who God has placed in authority over you. If they are in alignment then their "control" is often for our protection and guidance. I'm talking about those who are not in authority over you but are trying to usurp an authority over you that is not theirs. They will use manipulation and fear to try to gain a hold over you. Often it isn't even them but is the enemy exploiting them to gain access to you.
Alignment is super key during this time. Make sure you are a clean vessel. Make sure you are living in harmony with those around you and that your heart is free from offense. This is a time of healing and deliverance. Ensure that there are no open doors in your life. Maintain purity over your eye and ear gates and be discerning on what you allow into yourself. Be strategic in who you allow to speak into your life.
You already know what gates the Lord wants you to take possession of. He has already shown you them through dreams, visions, and intercessory burdens. Now is the time to take possession. God is and has been releasing keys. There have been deposits made into your spirit man over the past few months and now is the time to arise and allow God to use you to take back what the enemy has stolen. We are destined to rule. We are called as the gatekeepers over our cities, churches, regions, and nations. It is time to arise and rule. It is time to govern what is permitted to reside within our spheres of influence. It is time to take the authority that God has given you and use it. As you storm the gates you will then take authority over what they represent. In the coming months there is going to be a reckoning and a judgement passed down from these gates. God will use His people to issue edicts of judgement against the doers of darkness who have been opposing Him. As you take your place within the gates you will receive the authority to govern over the powers of darkness and see them flee before you. I commission you to go and storm the gates of the enemy as the Lord gives you vision of them.

August: Open Up Ye Gates!
August is a month of open gates and new beginnings. God has been showing His people, over the past few months, opportunities and open doors. August will be a time to enter into these new beginnings. But not all of these open doors are meant to be entered into. Often we mistake open doors as being a sign of God's will. But we must learn to discern God's will by the leading of His Spirit and not merely by open opportunities though He often speaks through them.
In this coming season there are going to be many open doors. Be careful to discern which ones are meant to be entered. Ask the Lord which opportunities to take advantage of. There are also going to be opportunities, that will look like closed doors, that God will ask you to kick down. These doors are meant to be entered and you will do so with ease. But you will not know the ease of entering through them until you do so. For when you look upon these doors they will appear as being next to impossible but when you bang them down you will enter through them with extreme ease.
Alignment is super crucial during this time. Be careful about who you surround yourself with. Ensure that the people who are around you are those who will affirm your destiny and help you fight for it. People will either launch you towards your destiny or they will derail you. Community is key. The community that we place ourselves in will help determine the course of our life and ministry. Revival always comes through a community of believers who are committed to each other. Who are you living in true community with?
The first seven months of the year have been a time of establishing, healing, preperation, and receiving. These next few months are a time of advancing and taking. Go forth and take what the Lord has given to you. Go forth and walk in what God has given you. Go forth and advance in your destiny. GO FORTH! This is your time- this is a time to dance in victory.
