The spirit of Moses is being poured out

The Lord is pouring out the same spirit of deliverance that He poured out upon His servant Moses. This same spirit is going to be poured out upon those who will declare freedom over God's people. God wants to set His people free from the bondages of worldliness, sexual immorality, and religiosity.

Last year God showed me that He was bringing prophetic intercession and prophetic worship together. This is something that I have talked about before and will go deeper into in a future blog post. He showed me that He was doing this during a 120 day period from July 4th through November 1st of this year and that it was going to echo the life of Moses. There is an assignment from the enemy upon those who are meant to dwell in the Tabernacle of David- specifically the intercessors/prophets. They are experiencing an incredible level of attack during this season. Just as the enemy tried to kill Moses before his birth so is he trying to destroy these people before they move into the fullness of their callings. The enemy is throwing all that he has against them and has tried to exploit every weakness. It is for this reason that God is refining them during this season so that they might experience true freedom. All of the flesh is being burnt away so only He remains. Any flesh that we have is a foothold for the enemy. Much of our trials in the present moment are being used by God to refine us.

The life of Moses can be divided into three sets of forty years each. The first was as prince of Egypt, then shepherd of Midian, and finally as deliverer of Israel. Forty years is the Biblical length of a generation. I like to refer to this as the three lives or generations of Moses. Each set of forty is being echoed in this 120 day period that is about to start.

Moses spent the first length of his life in the lap of luxury. He experienced all that the world had to offer. But he was caught in this tension. He knew the ways of God and his place as a Hebrew. But he was also well schooled in all of Egypt's idols and knew his place as a prince. Finally, at the age of forty he snapped and killed a man because of how he was mistreating a fellow Hebrew. It was this action that sent him into exile. Moses had enough with trying to live in two worlds at once. We can't live in the Kingdom and still be attached to the world. We must choose who we will serve. The gods of this world or Yahweh. Moses was in turmoil due to this struggle and it was this turmoil that drove him to anger.

Moses spent the next forty years tending sheep in the desert. It was during this time that God refined Him and spoke to Him. God was removing the Egypt from the heart of Moses. The Egypt had to be burnt out so that Moses could be the deliverer that He was born to be. Moses had been affected by the ways of Egypt more than any other Hebrew. It was because of this that He was chosen by God to confront the gods of the Egyptians. Moses was given an authority over them because he had come out of that system and received freedom.

Finally Moses was sent back at the age of eighty. It is never too late to live out your destiny. It took Moses eighty years before he took his place as prophet over Israel. The scriptures state that he was the greatest prophet who ever lived. This was made possible by the humility that came from forty years of submission in the desert. He was found faithful and given a nation to lead. God gave him a cry "Let my people go!"

In this hour God is raising up those who will declare to the enemy to "Let my people go!" They are those who know the bondages of the enemy. They are those who have been held in chains and set free. God is assigning some to challenge particular principalities. We will see a greater level of freedom come to the Church as these men and women rise up in power and declare freedom over entire regions.

Here in Southern California, specifically the LA and Orange County area, we are going to see Jezebel's hold broken. We are going to see in this year, through the restoration of the Tabernacle of David, a release of the captives. Manipulation (specifically when it comes to the prophetic), porn addiction, fornication, materialism, religious spirit, and idolatry are all going to come down. The restoration of the Tabernacle of David and the defeat of Jezebel go hand in hand. The two are going to come simultaneously. God spoke to me that the union of prophetic intercession and worship is being birthed this July 4th and will continue to be fostered until we see its fullness in December. For it is in December when the two streams will truly come together and join their hearts as one.

During this next season be in prayer for what God would have you do. Ask Him to reveal where the systems of the world are entrenched in your heart. Intercede for those in bondage. Declare freedom over your church and over your region. Listen to what God has to say to you personally. He is going to be speaking deep into you and revealing heart issues that you did not know you had. Embrace the refining fire that is being poured out upon you. You were made for such a time as this. Receive what God has for you.

Lord, I declare freedom over each and every person who reads this. May they experience you in all of your glory and majesty. May they experience your beauty each day. Reveal to them your destiny for their life and may they walk in it. Shower them with your love. Baptize them with your fire so that they may be the consecrated vessels that you created them to be. Continue to raise up your end-time army. Continue to purify your bride so that we might live as a Holy priesthood. May you give us the grace to usher in your Kingdom and Dominion. May we see Heaven invade Earth in all of its fullness. For the glory belongs to you forever and ever, Amen!

In His glorious service,
Matthew
