A Season of Intimacy and Going Deep

This has been burning on my heart and soul for the last two weeks. The Lord has been showing me, through many different ways, that this is truly a time to go deep within His Presence. Of course, we are always called to abide in Him but there are times of intense pressing in and this is one of them.

Lately, I have had the manifestation of oil at my fingertips quite frequently. Mostly when I am in the House of Prayer or times of worship but sometimes just when I'm out and about. This manifestation speaks of the anointing of intimacy and the oil of pleasure. God is pleased when we are intimate with Him in the depths of His Presence. God is glorified when we pour ourselves out as costly perfume. God demands extravagant worship- anything less fails to recognize the fullness of who God is.

2012 has been proclaimed the year of apostolic government. This is the start of an apostolic reformation in the Church as our preconceptions of the status quo are being turned over. There is an explosion as the move of God's glory is breaking free of the four walls of the Church and is going forth to all of society. We are God's Kingdom ambassadors and He is giving us the keys of the Kingdom. But these keys do not come cheap. These keys are received within the innermost depths of His glory. It is in the depth of His glory that we receive the strategies to further this reformation and carry it beyond the Church into a full fledged cultural revolution.

When Solomon dedicated the temple it was filled with the Glory of God. Scripture records that the priests could not stand to minister. The glory of God is overwhelming. Moses was transformed by his encounter with God so that his face shone with the Glory of the Lord. The Lord is calling us into the depths of His Presence so that we might encounter His glory. We were created to be marked. We are not called to be ordinary earth dwellers but are called to be Kingdom inhabitants. We carry the Glory of God within us and have been called as consecrated vessels set apart for His purpose.

The Lord is using this time to bring a cleansing to His people. He is showing us those things in our lives that must be removed in order for us to live out the fullness of our destiny. A vessel can't serve its purpose effectively if its opening is clogged with sediment and dirt. In the same way the Lord is bringing a healing process within us so that we might be clean conduits for the glory of the heaven. We are meant to be the revelation of heaven on this earth.

Part of this cleansing time is a call to fasting. We can not live consecrated lives without some form of fasting. Fasting allows the body to become weak so that our spirit might arise as the master over our flesh. I have had the burden and grace to fast lately and will be spending extensive time in this next season doing so. Many of the other intercessors and apostolic voices that I know are hearing this same call. I encourage all of you to pray about what kind of fast God wants you to do. There is a breakthrough that only comes with the fasted life.

As we submit ourselves to this process we will see powerful things happen. There will be an explosion of freedom and joy within you. Those around you will be blessed. As the oil of gladness flows from you there will be a manifestation of freedom within your friends and family. This is a time of healing that will flow from the hands of God's people to the nations of the earth. Go deep and you will receive the strategies that you will need for this next season. God is going to download all that you need and will bring alignment within your life. I declare healing and wisdom over you!
