A Word for Los Angeles: The Kings are Arising!

Earlier this week the Los Angeles Kings won the NHL championship and the Stanley Cup by defeating the New Jersey Devils. I feel that there is a prophetic statement in this victory. God is raising up His princes to take their places as kings to defeat the kingdom of darkness.

The Los Angeles Kings have never won the Stanley Cup in their entire history. They were the 8th seeded team going into the playoffs and no one expected them to come close to winning as an 8th seed has never won the cup in its entire history.

God is saying that the world may have discounted His chosen ones but He has not. He is promoting the unlikely ones to exercise the authority that He has prepared them for. The name Stanley means stoney meadow. I heard the Lord say the following about Los Angeles: "They see a stoney field but I see a green meadow." The world has written Los Angeles off as a place of spiritual fruitfulness but there is a renewal that is coming to this city and its perception within the Church is changing.

The Lord has given the African-Americans a princely anointing in this land. Of the 44 founding townspeople of Los Angeles, 26 were black. There is a governmental authority for breakthrough that is possessed by the African-Americans. It is because of this that we have seen so many attacks against the African-American people throughout our history as a nation. God is saying that the princes are about to become kings. Through Jesus we can possess the authority of kings over heaven and earth. The question is whether we will step into that authority.

This is a kairos moment to step into our authority of kings. God is promoting those who have been in the time of preparation and elevating them to be seen by the world. The time is coming when they will receive the honor that is due to them and recognition by the world. Let us rejoice!
